by Wayne Adams Visit Date:July 22, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We were a group 12 family travelers the rooms were a great setup for families but this hotel is very big on large bus tours so if you enjoy your personal space when trying to have breakfast this is not the hotel for you. When we arrived our rooms were not ready due to current occupants needed a late check out not a problem but when our flight was delayed and we needed a late check out nothing was forth coming <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Rene Dyrby Carlson Visit Date:August 3, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We have visited Duangjitt several times – latest in 2006. This time we should only stay for a couple of days on our roundtrip in Southern Thailand. Our daughter had wished that her 15 th birthday was held at this particular hotel, so we had booked the suite for 2 days. Unfortunately, our daughter got sick. This resulted among other things, that we never got to visit the breakfast buffet. At the day where we should leave I went to the breakfast buffet to get a couple slices of bread for my sick daughter, so she had a little to eat in the taxi. But the staff in the restaurant refused to let me take some bread - which I as a remark already had paid for. I complained then to the reception, which was not responsive. This incident is simply not worthy for any hotel - your staff should be able to meet the customers special needs, instead of rigid follow rules. I understand that in generally it is not allowed to take food away from the restaurant - but this was a special case. It is very unfortunate that our last visit at the hotel should end like this. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
fine, January 22, 2009 by Heleste Groenewald Visit Date:January 12, 2009 "Found reception staff to be very unfriendly and unhelpful. This was the 1st hotel we stayed at on our arrival to Thailand and there service levels werent great at all. the reception lady hardly greeted us and then gave us no hotel information at all and just said we should wait untill 2pm then our room will be ready" |
The booking service was excellent. I will recommend to my friends., August 23, 2008 by PETACHTARIDI ARIADNI Visit Date:August 2, 2008 "The hotel was great. The employees were very helpful. All the areas of the hotel were very nice and clean. The breakfast was great. You could eat everything you liked. The pool was nice and clean. The pool service was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. We were lucky because after few days they need to make a renovation in our wing and we changed our room. The new room was perfect. Very big and with nice view. They upgraded our room without any charge.Generally, it was one of the best hotels we ever stayed." |
very easy and efficient - best internet booking website for Thailand, July 17, 2008 by Barbara Evans Visit Date:July 11, 2008 "This resort was dissapointing in every way possible, and we d have walked out if we d been there for more than 3 nights. The fundamentals have been completely forgotten in order to modernise . The beds (and we tried 2 rooms) are rock solid and very uncomfortable. stuffing inside pillows has separated and they are lumpy. We ordered extras and they were the same!Staff informed us they were all the same. The bedding and other linen is so poorly washed and is so sticky that it all feels damp. The resort is way off the beaten track and everywhere is far to walk - even the front gate. Tuk-tuk is 150-200 Baht to town. The closest of 3 pools was closed - we were not notified upon booking, and the main pool was a long walk in the heat. As we had a late check out, they offerd to store luggage. This was left in the lobby from 11am-6pm. Scary! The staff were not like anywhere else we stayed. not happy or friendly. Breakfast was of a very low standard in comparison to other lower rated resorts." |

Great. Thank you., March 9, 2008 by Madeleine Malmros Visit Date:February 25, 2008 "I loved and hated this place. The room we first got was nice, but we had a construction site outside the door, with a lot of noise. Also, VERY far to the pool and breakfast area. Too far to walk back and forth with a two years old several times a day (Garden Wing room). We asked to change to the other Garden Wing building, and the next day they offered us a much better room in that building. The pool is GREAT. My child LOVED it! The staff was even better, soo service minded. Great with room service, although the food was not that superior. The SPA - lovely! The sense of a big garden with birds and nature is great in an horrible area like Patong...Although, I think the whole resort has a big lack of charm. Maybee it is just us not liking theese kind of resorts, or maybe it has no charm, I don t know.My fourth time in Patong area. Here is what I think:If you like the Patong area, do not stay here! It is too far from everything. You cannot even walk somewhere for lunch (takes to long). You are stuck with the Duangjitts restaurants, no good taste and expensive! If you do not like the hectic Patong Area, do not stay here either, find another beach on phuket! If you do not like the Patong Area but HAVE to stay there from another reason, then this is the place for you. It is great to get back after a while in Patong, to hear the birds sing again...." |
the best!, September 21, 2007 by danieleel barak Visit Date:September 11, 2007 "we booked the standart rooms,it turn out to be very far, and the rooms looks quite poor. great part of the hotel is under constructions, only one pool at use,no fitness room,no massage room, ect . BUT !!! we made an upgrade to the main building, to a family suite, two floors, and it was amaising, all the facilities were very indulging, highly recomended!!! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
