"For the competitive price I paid for the room, there is nothing to complain about. The hotel is centrally located and within 15 minutes walk to shopping centers and eateries of Lee Gardens and Central. The counter service is prompt and polite and the staff was conversant in English which made my life checking in easier than I expected.The room is neat and clean. "Hotel was ok, except location was quite a distance from main attraction.Breakfast was ordinary, slow to refillfoods that were running out. No supervisor around to oversee the smoothflow of foods. "Two bottles of drinking water in glass bottles are provided per day, but when we requested to purchase additional drinking water in glass bottles staff told us they could only sell us drinking water in plastic bottles. For environmental reasons, health and taste we prefer glass refillable bottles as the world is being buried under plastic bottles. Hotels need to realize they can please their customers, help the environment, and get green points by using only refillable glass drinking water bottles! "WiFi internet in our room on the 9th floor didn t work.Room smelled badly of cigarette smoke on arrival and they gladly changed rooms for us." | ||

"Booked for 3 Superior rooms but was offered a family suite and 1 superior room at the end. Size of rooms was average but very old and run-down. Bathrooms were cramped, poorly equipped and hazardous to shower. Airconditioning controls for all 3 rooms were out of order, always stayed at 20 degree C, freezing! No tea/coffee making facility, no safe. Quality of breakfasts pathetic. Reception staff not friendly at all, then again, generally many unfriendly Thais we encountered on the streets in Hatyai during the 3-days stay there. Frankly, very poor value for money and apprehensive to visit this place again though I last visited this town 18 years ago with great experience of the genuinely friendly Thai people then. The Thai I met recently had totally changed my perception with this so called Land of Smiles ." |
