Facts about Phuket Transportation
Transportation is a key factor almost all the time. Even if you come to a great city with gorgeous views and the best museums, you’re likely to spend all day walking around and getting too tired if you don’t have a sensible form of transportation. Many tourists make the mistake of coming to Phuket without any idea of how they’re going to carry themselves around when visiting places. Unless you rent a car before hand, the vacation could cause more trouble rather than a bout of relaxation. There are various modes of transportation in Phuket and these can be availed at differing prices. One of the most popular and rather amusing ways of travelling in Phuket is the tuk-tuk.

Some have the capacity to hold 20 seated people while others can accommodate around 40 people, if standing rather than sitting. Most of the local residents make use of this mode of transportation and is an interesting way to meet the residents of Phuket. Songtaews can be simply hailed, much like taxis and can be made to go to any destination in Phuket.
Other forms of Phuket transportation include the metered taxis, airport limousines, pubic airport bus and the likes. It is important to note that the cost of each vehicle can vary considerably and it is vital to know which one will be more economical versus which one can be a more reliable and safe way to travel inter city.
